La crisi che stiamo attraversando è lacrisidell’attuale modello di sviluppo basato sul binomio:maggioriconsumi = crescita dell’economia. Un modello che hacomeconseguenza diretta l’aumento progressivo della disparità trachista meglio e chi sta peggio; una tendenza che produce unsempremaggior numero di poveri, di disoccupati, di persone a cuivengononegati i diritti umani basilari: un alloggio adeguato,l’acquapulita, cure mediche essenziali, un ambiente sano in cuivivere.Aumentano così l’insicurezza, la disuguaglianza, l’impunitàdeigoverni e dei grandi soggetti economici, la repressionedeldissenso, il malessere sociale.La crisi finanziaria dello scorso autunno non è stata chelamanifestazione di una crisi molto più profonda e drammatica cheèambientale e sociale al tempo stesso.Questa situazione è globale e si manifesta in particolarenelledifferenze e nei conflitti tra il nord e il sud del mondo, maèanche nazionale, perché vediamo gli stessi problemi inItalia,anche a livello locale. L’amministrazione comunale diMacerata nonè certamente sfuggita allo sviluppo di quel modelloconsumisticoche è alla base della crisi; un modello che qui si èconcretizzatoin particolare nella speculazione edilizia, conl’assalto degliimmobiliaristi al territorio e nel disprezzo delleesigenze delsuolo e di chi su quel suolo abita o vorrebbe abitare.Questo incontrotendenza rispetto ad una crescente consapevolezzaetica neiconfronti del consumo – che si vorrebbe sempre più criticoeresponsabile – e dell’economia solidale nel senso più ampio;delrisparmio energetico, della tutela dell’ambiente e delterritorio;dell’inclusione sociale.Tutto questo ha portato sempre più persone ad allontanarsidallapolitica attiva, agevolando il gioco di chi comanda e di chidellapolitica fa uno strumento ad uso e consumo personale. Malapolitica incide sulla nostra vita di ogni giorno, decide ilnostrofuturo e quello dei nostri figli, ed è giunto quindi ilmomento dicambiare rotta: cambiare rotta nell’unico modopossibile,attraverso l’impegno profondo e costante dei cittadini,liberi daicondizionamenti esterni, liberi dagli interessi privatidi pochi,liberi dalle logiche di uno sviluppo scellerato.Occorre adoperarsi per dare spazio ad un movimento al di sopradeipartiti, capace di governare insieme e non di esseresologovernato, capace di creare benessere prima che ricchezza,capacedi lavorare per il bene comune e non per quello dei solitinoti,capace di dare voce a tutti e non di suonare sempre lastessacampana. Un movimento capace di superare la falsa divisionetra“destra” e “sinistra” che oggi viene utilizzata da chi comandapertenerci separati e continuare così a fare il propriocomodoindisturbato. Questo affinché la politica torni adesserepienamente al servizio del cittadino.Cooperative, associazioni, gruppi nati attorno alla necessitàdipraticare stili di vita virtuosi sono l’attuazione pratica diunmodello che ha come obiettivo la crescita del benessere personaleesociale; un modello di cui è importante raccogliere iltestimoneper farne esperienza partecipata a tutti i livelli.L’essere indipendenti ed alternativi alle forze politiche cheneglianni ci hanno governato, senza alcuna eccezione, è unasceltairrinunciabile, senza la quale non è possibile proporre unmodellorealmente nuovo.
